Vitor Belfort was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and began fighting professionally at the age of 19. He was dubbed "The Phenom" because of his explosive and dynamic performances in the octagon and became the UFC Light Heavyweight World Champion in 2004. Always a fan favorite, Vitor has fought all over the world and been featured in numerous magazines and television programs. Vitor has used that fame as a platform to preach peace and is dedicated to numerous social campaigns. Currently Vitor splits his time between South Florida and his hometown of Rio with his wife and three children.
