ORIGINATING IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF GEORGIA IN A SMALL TOWN CALLED RABUN GAP, PRIGUS WAS BIRTHED BY SEVERAL COMPETITIVE FARMERS AND A COUPLE WILD DOGS. IT STARTED IN THE FIELDS 1922, MADE ITS WAY INTO THE EAST COAST COLLEGE CIRCUIT IN 1925, THEN SPREAD WEST AS FAR AS GOLETA IN SUNNY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BY 1936

PRIGUS SPORT IS A FAST MOVING GAME WHERE THE PLAYERS ADVANCE THE GAME BALL (THE PRIGUS) UP THE FIELD USING PADDLES AND DOGS. THE OBJECT OF THE GAME IS TO KNOCK DOWN THE OPPONENT'S PINS IN THEIR GOAL ZONE WITH THE PRIGUS. THE FIRST TEAM TO KNOCK DOWN ALL SIX PINS WINS THE GAME. BUT THERE'S MUCH MORE TO IT THAN THAT!

THIS EXHIBITION IS AN OVERVIEW OF THE GAME'S RICH HISTORY STARTING IN RABUN GAP GEORGIA. THE EXHIBIT HIGHLIGHTS THE TEAMS, CITIES, MASCOTS, PLAYERS, UNIFORMS AND THE CULTURE OF THE SPORT. PICK THE LIMITED EDITION PRIGUS SPORT SHIRT RED AND BLUE EDITION. GET THE FIRST LOOK AT THE OFFICIAL PRIGUS SPORT MERCHANDISE, INCLUDING PRINTS, PENNANT FLAGS, PATCHES, ZINES, TICKETS AND MUCH MORE. AVAILABLE AT VASF!
