CK1: Modern Day Badass
I’m not sure if anyone remembers, or better yet, saw it (4 million plus), but a while back BJ Penn jumped straight up and out of a 3′ pool. What’s my point you ask? I’m not really sure, but it was cool. There’s probably only a handful of people who can actually do this – Chuck Norris, Rambo, Patrick Swayze (RIP), and of course BJ Penn. Oh wait, I remember what my point was now. My point is this. Cory Kennedy just went and did it as well. That’s right, CK1 is no one trick pony – he gots skills on and off the board, homie. With that, watch our boy do his thang – jump style! And while you’re at it, add him to that list of badasses up top. That’s what I thought.

Nicknamed “The Prodigy”, BJ Penn was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Hilo, Hawaii at the tender age of 17 by neighbor Tom Callos. It was through Tom that BJ met Ralph Gracie in 1997 and decided to relocate to Mountain View, CA to further his jiu-jitsu training.
From that time on, BJ Penn launched his storied career through the ranks of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is today a UFC World Champion.
