- Under age and under the influence of genuine artistic ability, Modrocket, NYC’Äôs latest all girl rock sensation, are making a name for themselves amongst the people that count most, their peers. Head strong and mature beyond their years, the girls’Äô of Modrocket know their stuff. Belting out poetic lyrics and a unique tune, Modrocket has a distinct appeal that beckons attention. Guitarist Alex creates the tune, lead signer Alice wale’Äôs out the libretto while drummer Sandra sets the pace and Bass player Alanna brings the mood. Hidden bars below the streets, dirty dive bars which speak to the underground, it’Äôs the seedy underbelly of NYC that inspires them most. And while that is what sets the tone to the Modrocket bet, it is what they are yet to do, that we are excited about most.
