Though bland – this statement is liberated and proud ..
I find myself on the triumphant end of a task ruthless men would have shuddered to undertake.
The nature of this dwelling can be imagined if one considers its long term residents, Kevin “Spanky” Long, Steve Lee and Neckface, and that the apartment itself had a vampiric thirst for freely associative assemblages which it elicited from those that lived and visited there over the years.
The result of this was a sumptuous wall of dedication to sponteneity that Apartment #3 would writhe about in like Elizabeth Báthory, until its death.
Here are a few snippets, in loving memory of The Wall.
Featuring: Jason Dill, Leo Fitzpatrick, Kevin “Spanky” Long & Steve Lee

Hi, I’m Michelle Blade. I grew up running around the hills and river beds of Los Angeles. As an adult I migrated north and landed in San Francisco, where I now live and work. I’m mainly a painter but I branch out into sculpture, film and photography from time to time. Love for the California landscape runs deep in my blood, as do psychedelic tapestries, mystical encounters, my dog and running shoes.
See you all soon,
Michelle

Hello, I’m Kylea Borges, a San Francisco based collage artist ending my career as a twenty something. When I’m not cultivating my carpal tunnel cutting paper, I spend my days staring out my back window at an ugly parking lot thinking of ways to move to the woods. Sometimes I make it out into the world where you can find me thrifting for old lady loafers, oversized sweaters and ceramics that look like they were made by someone’s mother in the 70′s. One day I will start a black metal commune in the forest and you will all be invited.
Moonbeams,
Kylea
