At the end of December Krisgatha stuffed his bags with his latest prints and headed to District Sides in Semarang for his solo art show entitled ‘Sideless’. He was joined by fellow DJ’s Bambang Rahmantyo and HelloStereo to kick off the new year in style.

“Sorry No Canvas Today” is a solo exhibition featuring the works of Uji Handoko at the SIGIarts Gallery in Jakarta. Krisgatha played at the opening alongside Wok The Rock and The Brensex. It’s on display until November 3rd so get there fast.

For the 2nd Brightspot Market we teamed up with DailyWhatnot.com to present Albert Judiyanto’s ‘Imaginary//Ordinary’ photo series. 12,000 people came through the doors during the 4 day period, with many stopping by our booth to check out the photos and grab a zine & mixtape.

Globe’s ‘Ratbowl’ opened yesterday in a sleepy corner of Jimbaran Bay, Bali. Check these pics of Kiwi skate legend/Bali transplant Gregor Rankine ruling it! The wall murals are by Clayton Barr, a long time friend on RVCA. It’s open all day & night and free to use so find it & grind it!

Indonesian ‘visual & sonic’ artist Krisgatha Achmad flew over to India last week to attend the 4th annual Carnival of e-Creativity (CeC 2009). He took part in some presentations/workshops and performed at the closing party. Check the pics…
