- Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Lo dropped out of school at age 14 when she realized that she’d get a better education spending her days in book stores, cruising through thrift stores and volunteering at the Jabberjaw. It was then that she promised herself that one day she would have her own company and be her own boss.
- Fast forward to 2005 and Lo launched the 1st of the Heartschallenger Ice Cream trucks in LA – a primary vehicle to showcase her favourite things….international ice cream, candy and toys, zines (including her own – “Somewhere between”) as well as the Heartschallenger product line consisting of t-shirts, graffiti and mix tapes.
- Becoming a regular fixture at art openings, shows, parties, and other fun events, Heartschallenger has recently launched its 2nd truck in NYC. Now spending her days living in NYC, Lo is fast spreading the word of Heartschallenger, along with playing in a band with her partner Ben, ‘Hearts Revolution’ and occasionally working freelance design jobs. Living her life by her own rules…the way she likes it.
